What are like terms?

The're exactly what they sound like, the're terms that are the same, like 12 and 54, or 3/5 and 20/81. And since they are alike, they can be combined. However, terms that are not alike cannot be combined. Take 2 and 3/5, for example. They can be combined, but you need to turn 2 into 2/1, first.
